45PHYTOCHEMICAL AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY OF WHOLE PLANT OF MADHUCA LATIFOLIA ROXBThe alcholic extract (methanolic & ethanolic) of Madhuca latifolia was subjected to preliminary phytochemical studies. The results latifoliate the presence of alkaloids, proteins, carbohydrates. Antimicrobial activity of methanolic extract and aqueous extracts of Madhuca latifolia was screened by agar well diffusion method.
